This Stone Harbor residence was used as a rental property for 20 years. Ready to spend more time at the Jersey Shore, the home owners made the decision to renovate. In addition to updating the interiors aesthetically, the clients requested that the kitchen, baths and seating be elevated to accommodate their height.
Walnut floors, applied ceiling molding and stained beams are the biggest design statements. The structural column in the kitchen was rounded to receive rope as a nod to the beach which can be seen from the living room. The eye catching light fixtures in the stairwell and kitchen are works of art that take the space to the next level.
