Enhanced Palette
Overlooking Rittenhouse Square, this 6500 Square Foot Residence has all the Wow Power, even as a blank slate. The owners former Urban Condo was a Study in Beige so the request to take it up a few notches was literally the outcome.
Building out a special fireplace facade with millwork and specialty glass was one of the first areas to address. Adding only needed moulding but keeping sleek and not too traditional was a second item throughout. Inserting wallpaper in all hallway doors so they would integrate with the walls added a subtle detail. Lighting throughout was a big component, in that nighttime views are spectacular and still needed the decorative interior elements of unique fixtures. The upholstery palette was created by a handmade large scale living room rug along with pulling colors from the owners extensive art collection.
The interior is both a warm and a cool palette. The goal was to walk into this home after a long day and be able to find comfortable seating in multiple rooms throughout with no limit to views surrounding the city and beyond.
